In terms of communication. El Nido is considered advance compared to other municipalities due to the availability of SMART and GLOBE cellular phones, as well as cable and satellite televisions and transistor radios. Newspapers and magazines are also available daily to subscribers being transported from Manila by a private plane owned by a big resort in the locality.
The Post Office is located in Poblacion manned by one (1) Postmaster. A TELECOM is also available with one (1) personnel. Incoming communications for the barangays are sent through water vessels plying the EL Nido-Manila route and vice-versa. Since 1998, with the construction of the circumferential road connecting the northern barangays from Villa Liberted, Pasadena, Barotuan, Teneguiban, San Fernando, Sibalatan, Villa Paz, New Ibajay and back to El Nido town. Barangay residents were able to bring their agricultural products to the Poblacion daily.Transportation going to the province capital, Puerto Princesa City and vice-versa is thru jeepneys and buses or sometimes use pump boats during rainy seasons when road connecting El Nido-Taytay is not passable.
